Joyce Kyerewaa Ahenkorah, Ph.D (Associate Consultant)

Miss Joyce Kyerewaa Ahenkorah has acquired excellent training and is well versed in all kinds of research work in development studies. She is currently a lecturer of Development Studies at the Department of Development & Education Studies faculty of education; University of Development Studies. She holds an MPHIL Degree in Development management and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Development Studies, Ghana.
Joyce K. Ahenkorah facilitated research collaborations between the University of Development Studies Ghana and the University of Bristol and the University of Amsterdam respectively. She has also engaged in baseline assessment on a new project being implemented by tree Aid in the U.K and the three Northern regions of Ghana in addition she has done assessment of development projects and interventions in rural communities in Northern Ghana Using Participatory Approach.
She has also had the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars which have helped boost her career and broadened her scope.  She was a member of the Northern Region Disaster committee in the Eastern Region of Ghana set up by the Regional Minster to solicit for funds and other basic needs for Northern Region Flood disaster Victims. She also was responsible for the monitoring, inspection and campaign of the protection of Water bodies with the Board Members of Water Resource Commission, Ghana.
