Dr. Machar is a Pan-Africanist with in-depth knowledge and expertise on the challenges of the African State, State-building and Nation-Building, development in Post-Conflict African States, Peace and Security, Africa’s electoral politics and Ethnic Conflicts & Development. Dr. Machar’s deep sense of history of Africa’s Political Affairs and development challenges and nation-building in post-colonial Africa have contributed to his vision of a dialogue on reconstructing Africa’s future development path. Dr. Machar has represented some Post-Conflicts African countries such as Angola, Sierra Leone in the American Model of the United Nations. Dr. Machar has travelled across the United States and across Eastern and Southern Africa with  vast international research and consultancies on “The South Sudanese National Dialogue Initiative”, “The South Sudanese Community Mobilization and Involvement in Nation-Building Activities in South Sudan”, “The Kenyan Diaspora Debate”, Government of South Sudan Comprehensive Evaluation of Service Delivery, from 2006-2011”, “The Southern Sudan Referendum Registration of the Diaspora Voting, Alexandria, Virginia”.
