Dr. Fred-Mensah was rated Alien of Extraordinary Ability by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Services under its section 202 (b) (1) (b) in October 2000, based on a review of his academic , professional and service credentials. He was nominated and published in the 56th edition of the Marquis Who’s Who in America. He was nominated for the 2007/08 Honors Edition of the Cambridge Who’s who among Executives and Professionals. Dr. Fred-Mensah has an extraordinary career in academia with several theses and dissertations under his belt and with excellent professional development and leadership skills across Europe, the America’s and Africa. His expertise are in the areas of governance and economic development in developing countries, land reforms and natural resource management in Africa, social protection in developing countries, gender and development in Africa, Micro-enterprises development in Africa and general secondary education in Africa. He has a stellar consultancy records with international organizations such as the European Union, Global Development Synergies, United Nations Development Program, The World Bank, The Overseas Development Council, Africare and the United Nations Children’s Fund. Dr. Fred-Mensah served as the Principal Consultant of the Delegation of the European Union to Liberia/Liberian Government in drafting the cross-cutting issues chapter of the Liberian Government’s Second poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS-2). Also He also served as the Senior Consultant of the United Nations Development Program in New York in evaluating management practices of UNDP’s post-conflicts projects in Mozambique, Rwanda, and Papua Guinea.
